Extracurricular activities are given ample importance as a part of student life at SV Colleges, encouraging students develop interpersonal skills and personality skills. Several programmes such as Thapasya and Independence Day celebrations are conducted throughout the year, to keep the students active on this front.
Students of each department have formed their own technical association to organize and implement various technical events. Communication Skills Development Program
Everything we do is participative and interactive. The programs include work in pairs, small group work, games, processes and exercises designed to stimulate, challenge and develop students’ knowledge and communication skills.
A strong emphasis is given to sports and other extracurricular activities. Students are encouraged to take part in different sports every day after hours. It not only gives students relaxation from a long day of studies, but also gives them opportunity to work in a team environment.
National Service Scheme (NSS) was launched as a student youth service programme aimed at arousing social consciousness and developing individual personality of the students through community service. NSS, SV Colleges have conducted various community service programs such as blood donation, tree plantation and teaching children from surrounding rural areas.
A luxurious hostel facility is provided for girls in the college campus, with security and safety given utmost priority. The canteen offers Nutritious and tasty food, served in hygienic and healthy environment. A wide variety of options is available daily for students and faculty to choose from.
