Freshers Day Celebrations At SV Colleges From 8th – 12th Jan 2015

Blood Donation Camp Organized By Nss Unit On 05-12-2014.

A Blood donation camp was organized by NSS unit of SV Engineering College for Women. The students and Faculty members of SVColleges voluntarily turned up to donate the blood and the made the event a grand success.

In NTT DATA, Bangalore campus selections, six students of SV COLLEGES have got placed. Hearty congratulations to all the selected students from Management and Staff members of SV Colleges

HUD HUD Relief fund 3lakhs handed over to Dist. Collector

CTS On campus drive 112 students placed

112 students of SV Colleges have been placed in CTS On campus drive held from 14-10-14 to 15-10-14. All SV Colleges stake holders must be happy for the achievement of three digit placements after putting so much hard work and dedication.

Three Day Workshop on "Introduction to design thinking workshop" in association with "Indian school of Business".

SV College of Engineering, Karakambadi road, Tirupati, organized Three day workshop on Introduction to Design thinking in Association with Indian School of Business (ISB) & Andhra Pradesh society for knowledge Networks ( APSFKNW) as part of Technology Entrepreneurship Program ( TEP) for all the registered students of 3rd Year B.Tech. Eminent professors from ISB are deputed to engage this program.

A TWO DAY WORKSHOP ON "ANDROID APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT" FOR III CSE SVEW ON 21,22-09-14

A Two day workshop is going to be organized on Android applications development for III CSE SVEW students, which enables them to understand how to develop an android app. Mr.K.Surya Gopal, Sr.Software Engineer, Symphony Teleca Ltd., Bangalore will act as resource person for the workshop.

ENGINEERS DAY CELEBRATIONS ON 15-09-2014

In the memory of Sri.Mokshagundam Visveswaraiah, SV Colleges celebrated Engineers Day on 15-09-2014. All departments conducted various events like paper presentations, poster presentations, LAN gaming, C-Quiz, Working models exhibition and technical quiz etc. and distributed prizes to winners.

THREE DAYS CTS TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR ALL ELIGIBLE IV B.TECH STUDENTS FROM 15-09-2014 to 17-09-2014

Department of Training and Placements had organized three days training progamme in the aptitude, logical and verbal areas for the upcoming CTS Campus recruitment drive. Trainers from FACE academy, Chennai gave training for all eligible IV B.Tech students of SV Colleges.

TWO DAY WORKSHOP ON “ANDROID APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT” FOR III CSE SVCE ON 8 & 9-09-14.

Department of Computer Science and Engineering, SVCE organized an Android applications development workshop for III CSE students. By this workshop students came to know how to develop an android app. Mr.K.Surya Gopal, Sr.Software Engineer, Symphony Teleca Ltd., Bangalore acted as resource person for the workshop and helped students for hands on experience for the development of apps.

Ms. Sri Sai Janani.V.J of IV B.Tech CSE, SVEW has performed dance in Kathak style at North American Telugu Association (NATA) Convention 2014, Atlanta, USA on 06-07-2014.

FDP ON SOFT SKILLS FOR EXCELLENCE IN ENGINEERING ON 25- JULY-2014 .

THREE DAY WORKSHOP "OUTCOME BASED ACCREDITATION" FROM 14-16 JUNE,2014.

A three day ‘Out-come based accreditation workshop’ on N.B.A (Phase-II) was conducted on 14th & 16th June, 2014. It was inaugurated by the Honorable Chief Guest Dr.H.Sudarshana Rao, Rector & Professor of Civil Engineering Department, JNTUA, Ananthapur and also Guest of Honour Dr.V.Srinivasa Rao Garu, Head of the Computer Science of Engineering Department, PVP Siddhardha Engineering College, Vijayawada.

On 16th June the Workshop ended with a Valedictory Function by the august presence of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor of JNTUA, Ananthapur, Dr.K.Lal Kishore. For Phase – I & II almost 17 delegates from different colleges attended to this workshop.

ELITE- EEE TECHNICAL ASSOCIATION MEET ON 13-05-2014

Department of EEE organized a technical meet on behalf of their association ELITE on 13-05-2014 at SV College of Engineering. In this event many technical events like paper presentations, poster presentations and Quiz programmes and many non-technical events like Dumbsheradz, Group Discussions and chess competition etc were organized for EEE students in SV Colleges. Students took active participation in all the events and made the event a gr4and success. Later prizes were distributed to winners.

JOSH-2014: An ALUMNI MEET AND ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATIONS

At SV Colleges annul alumni meet and college day celebrations were conducted in the name JOSH-2014 on 25th and 26th April, 2014. Many cultural events were organized on first day. On second day the college Chairman addressed the gathering and told “Students are the Backbones of our institutions”. He also distributed prizes for toppers in both colleges and Gold medals were given to Best Outgoing students. Students enjoyed on both the days.

A NATIONAL LEVEL MANAGEMENT MEET- M-PULSE ON 24-04-2014

A National level management meet- M-PULSE was organized on 24-24-2014 by Department of MBA, SVColleges. SV Colleges chairman Sri.A.Gangi Reddy garu acted as Chief Patron, Principals Dr.N.Sudhakar Reddy garu and Dr. P.V.N.Reddy garu acted as Patrons and Prof. S. Mohan Reddy acted as convener for the event. Many events were conducted for young management graduates and nearly 300 students from various colleges participated and won prizes in the event.

ELIXIR- MINI PROJECTS EXHIBITION ON 12-04-2014.

A mini projects exhibition- ‘ELIXIR’ was organized by SV Colleges on 12-04-2014. For this programme Dr. G. Bhanodaya Reddy, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, SVU College of Engineering, Tirupati acted as chief guest and inaugurated the programme. Around 200 project works and working models were exhibited in the programme. All the students and faculty who visited the exhibition were very much inspired by the models that were shown. Prizes were distributed department wise for the outstanding two projects.

IEEE STUDENT CHAPTER INAUGURATION AT SVCE ON 10-APR-2014.

IEEE Student chapter was inaugurated at SVCE on 10- Apr-2014. Dr.N.Giriprasad,Professor,ECE Department was the chief guest and in his discourse he addressed the students about the importance of IEEE student chapter, how to make effective use of the IEEE Student chapter and the other benefits by having the IEEE membership. Nearly about thirty students took the IEEE membership in this regard.
